Taking a Short Break

There were two big events on Tuesday. The first was my second health MOT at the Nuffield health club, and the good news is that since the last one in mid-October my score has improved from 77 to 94. A lot of this was due to my aerobic fitness. They did a resting VO2 Max test (an oxymoron I know) and it went from 36 to 53, putting me into the excellent category for my gender and age.

However, the second big event was a call that evening that a family member who had struggled for many months against cancer was losing the battle. My husband and I travelled up to be with them yesterday and will be here with the family for the next few days.

Thus, I will be taking a short break from posting on this blog due to a death in the family. I hope to resume sometime early next week.
